Trattoria al Forno Character Breakfast

by Casey Morris on May 7, 2018

The Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno has become quite the hit lately. Located at Disney’s BoardWalk, it is very convenient to do this breakfast on your Epcot day.

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, this meal takes only one table service credit per person.

Upon arriving to Trattoria, here is the entrance:

As you come in, you will check in with the hostess here:

If your table is not quite ready yet, there is a a comfy waiting area just opposite of the check in desk:

There are so many good choices on the menu, so let’s just dive right in, shall we?

When you are first seated, you will be served a “variety of pastries” in none other than Rapunzel’s frying pan for everyone to share. Trust me when I tell you that every.single.pastry.is.divine. I mean, someone had to try them all, right?

Next, you get to choose one starter, your options are either a fruit salad or berry, yogurt and granola parfait.

The adults now choose from the adult entrees, and kids from the kid entrees. The adult entrees include:

Here are some pictures of options we have personally tried:

The most popular of the options is King Triton’s Shipwreck al Forno. Of course, to keep up with the theme, it is served with King Triton’s trident. (This was our favorite!)

This deserves a close up:

…as well as a cross section to really take in the goodness!

Next up is Tower of Pancakes, which is just as it sounds – a tower of pancakes! I’m guessing this one might be Rapunzel’s favorite. (And I immediately start singing “I’m so glad I left my tower” every time I see this option!)

The Royale Breakfast comes with steak, and now all the men are happy!

The kid’s menu has 4 different entree options:

Our kids have only tried the Flounder’s Flapjacks here. How cute are these?!?

While the food is fabulous, most people are drawn in for the characters!

There are two lovely couples that can be met here, and they are oh so much fun to interact with! First up is one of my favorites – Rapunzel!

Next is Flynn Rider, complete with his satchel and all!

Then we saw Ariel –

And last but not least, Prince Eric!

This breakfast is truly a gem, and we highly recommend it. Reservations can still be quite difficult to get, due to popularity, so be sure to let your Pirate and Pixie Dust Destinations travel advisor know early on if you would like to add  this to your itinerary!
